Outdoor adventures & enrichment for Navajo Nation youth!
![]() ![]() 2010 Paradise Loop Ride Set for April 10
A springtime tradition continues in the western rez, as area cyclists will be saddling up for the 12th riding of the Paradise Loop Ride on Saturday, April 10. The ride is a 35-mile journey among the stunning red rocks canyon country between Inscription House and Navajo Mountain. The ride begins at Inscription House Trading Post and ends at Navajo Mountain High School in the shadow of Naatsisaan. Riders will be treated to well-stocked aid stations throughout the day and will be rewarded with a heart celebratory meal at ride's end. A benefit rug auction and raffle will also take part at the dinner. Camping is available on Saturday night, with breakfast offered to all campers on Sunday morning.
The ride benefits the Dine' youth who are taking part in the Native American Composer Apprentice Project (NACAP), a project of the Grand Canyon Music Festival. We have a long and cherished partnership with the Music Festival and are excited to make the proceeds available to this amazing project!
For more information about the ride, contact Tom at chuskaman@yahoo.com or call him at (928) 429-0345. Registration is available at www.active.com, and then enter "Paradise Loop Ride". Hope to see you on the trail in April!
